REJECTED: Bob Diven's Unpublished New Yorker Cartoons

Bob will tickle visitors' imaginations by providing pen and paper to suggest their own captions for his cartoons, just as the New Yorker magazine does each week.

REJECTED...is the first interactive exhibit in the Mesquite Art Gallery's Salon.  Suggestions can be added during the gallery's opening hours throughout the month as well as on opening night with Bob.

A Las Cruces art treasure, Bob is responsible for innumerable art ventures including sidewalk art, art classes, theatre art and performance, music performance, sculptures,(Billy the Kid and that famous cow, for two) the hilarity at many Renaissance Faires, essays, writings, building of an airplane, most of all--spirit for all art endeavors and the artists who make them.

Come participate and take a look at Mel Stone's photography and artwork by the Ten o" Clock Club.

Regular gallery hours: Fridays: 1 to 5 pm;
Saturdays and Sundays: 11 am to 5 p.m.
