Smile, Laugh and be Astounded this May at the Mesquite Art Gallery, 340 N.
Mesquite Street, Las Cruces, with guest artist, Rosemary McLoughlin's exhibit, Gratitude. Opening: First Friday, May 1 4-8pm.
“The title for this exhibit came very easily to me. I am deeply grateful for the gifts of inspiration, encouragement and support that I have received during my years in the Las Cruces-Mesilla art community.
These gifts are especially important to me now as the changes in my eyesight challenge me to continue to paint with acceptance and joy,“ writes Rosemary.
Renowned for decades of charming viewers with imaginative color stories in paint, McLoughlin's work spins the joy of memory and experience into
masterful and unforgettable works of art.
Nun, teacher, NMSU Master of Art graduate, friend of all who know her, the Mesquite Art Gallery is privileged to showcase music with Buddy, Tom and the Byrds, 5-7 pm, as Rosemary welcomes visitors between 4 and 8
pm. Check out her website at Rosemary McLoughlin - An Artist's Journey - Rosemary Mcloughlin
In the spirit of camaraderie on Mesquite Street, the historic El Camino Real, the Mesquite Art Gallery will keep normal hours on Friday, May 1, for viewing and discussing art.
In solidarity and respect for working people, and the
national May Day Strong shopping boycott, sales will be suspended for the day.
